First Impression is a Philadelphia based Progressive Classic Rock cover band. The band was formed in 2012 and the current lineup has been together since 2021. Throughout the course of their musical union, the members of First Impression have won over the hearts of music lovers throughout Philadelphia region. The band focuses on Progressive Classic Rock including (but not exclusively) covering the music of bands such as Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Kansas, Led Zeppelin and many others! Lead Singer, Harmonica, Percussion
ROSE DANESE
Rose Danese has been with First Impression from the very beginning. As Lead Singer, she takes on quite a lot of responsibility, from fine-tuning the musical arrangements to assisting other bandmates with perfecting their performances.
Jonathan is central to the sound of First Impression. His keyboard skills, along with his dynamic voice provide the centerpiece to the more Progressive Rock flavor of the band.

John Danese founding member of the band and current manager of the band rounds out the guitar work along with Dan McKay.

Dan McKay
Dan has been in First Impression since 2019 as Lead and Rytrhm Guitar. He has been in numerous projects in the past and has been an intregal part of the band ever since.
Gary Battista
Bass
Gary has been our bassist since 2022 and has stepped up to the plate to take on some of the most challenging bass parts. He along with our drummer Tom hold down the ryhthm section nicely.
Tom Smith
Drums, Percussion
Tom Smith is a founding member of First Impression. Keeping the beats and the band tight along with Bassist Gary, on Drums Tom helps hold it all together.

Dave Marabella Was a founding member of the Progressive Era of First Impression. Dave has been on the scene for decades and still performs in the Philadelphia are in some top bands.
